Hi Backers!
Since the campaign ended we've had our heads down, working hard to ensure we're able to meet the super early bird delivery timeline as well as going over every detail with our manufacturer and shipping partners so we are in the best shape to deliver all your rewards in due time.
We haven't had the chance to thank you all for supporting this project. None of this would have been possible without your support- especially those who have backed us on day one with no idea how this project was going to go. We are so grateful for this awesome community of comfort-loving backers! We'll continue to work hard to exceed all your expectations. This towel will be one for the books!
Surveys
We're happy to announce that Backerkit surveys are out! We're sending them to a small percentage of backers first, to test all the features. Once we make sure everything is running smoothly, the rest of the surveys will be sent out to everyone.
You will have until December 15th to make changes to your survey once completed. After that date, surveys will be locked to allow us to start the shipping process since we're on quite a tight schedule.
For those new to Kickstarter, the survey is where you will provide us with your shipping address, and select the colors and items you'd like. You will also be asked to pay the shipping cost for your rewards which were not collected during the campaign.
We’re certain we got everything right, but if you run into any issues please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]. This will always be the best and fastest way to reach us.
Super Early Birds
Reward tiers with an estimated delivery date of December 2023 will be the first to ship out: The Towel - Super Early Bird, The Towel (2-Pack) - Super Early Bird, and The Towel (4-Pack) - Super Early Bird will be shipping out this month.
Please keep in mind that adding a towel set, a bath sheet, or a hand towel to your order will move you to the second delivery batch in March 2024 since these items are still being manufactured and are not yet available to ship.
Colors
We are thrilled to announce that after successful negotiations with our manufacturer, we are now able to offer all available colors in every size of the towel! This means that all backers will have the freedom to choose their preferred color for any towel type, be it full sets, bath sheets, or hand towels. Get ready to mix and match your favorites – we know you'll love this added flexibility!
Casamera X BULIFA
During the campaign, we partnered with Bulifa, a rising artist from North Africa renowned for his expertise in typography and calligraphy. We are excited to announce our renewed collaboration, featuring 20 exclusive, custom-made art pieces. These pieces, which you can explore in the survey, represent a visually calming tapestry. They skillfully combine tranquil shades and striking textures.
Failed Payments
If your payment has failed or your pledge has been dropped due to payment issues, no worries. You'll get a chance to claim your rewards and provide a different payment method through your Backerkit survey. You will receive an email with your survey soon (Although we have no idea if you'll be notified of this update)
Things to keep in mind
- Shipping for add-ons like Slippers, Scrubbers, Sleep Masks, and Hand Towels is free worldwide.
- There's a limited supply for all add-ons so make sure you complete your survey as early as possible if you're hoping to snag some new drip for your bathroom. As a backer of this project, you will get access to exclusive discounts on all of our add-ons.
- You can switch to higher reward tiers on the first page of your Backerkit surveys, should you choose to. You can upgrade your pledge to The 4-Pack Set or The 2-Pack Set.

Completed surveys will be locked down on December 15th so we can prepare for shipping. There is no rush to complete the survey for our Early Bird backers, you have ample time to complete your survey before we begin shipping in March 2024.

Hi Backers,
First off, we wanted to give a big thank you to everyone for spreading the love and sharing our project with your friends, so many new people have joined the campaign since the last update. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring you another exciting product. We can't wait to send you all these awesome towels!
Stretch Goal
Thanks to your incredible support, we've now been able to reach the next stretch goal at $250K which unlocks the Concrete set. All backers can now select Charcoal or Concrete for their towel sets.
The bath towel is available in all colors: Charcoal, Concrete, Denim, and Pistachio while the bath sheet and hand towels are now available in both Charcol and Concrete.
All aboard to our next stretch goal at $300k which will unlock the Denim set. Help us get there by sharing this project with anyone you know who showers. We still have time, just not a lot of it!
Production Update
Since we managed to crush our goal early, we've been able to get a jumpstart on production and lay out a comprehensive fulfillment plan for the next few months.
Our goal is to deliver your rewards in two batches: Super Early Birds will be fulfilled in December of this year (a challenging endeavor!) and Early Bird rewards will ship in March 2024. We're working hard to get your items shipped and delivered even sooner than the scheduled shipping date.
Our bath towels are in the final phase of production and are set to be finished in the next 2-3 weeks. Our next production run will focus on the bath sheets, hand towels, and sets. Those are scheduled to be completed by mid-February. We can’t wait to get these towels into your hands!
Next Steps
Two weeks after the campaign ends, all backers will receive the post-campaign survey through Backerkit. Through the survey you'll be able to:
- Choose the color for your rewards
- Select add-ons to add to your order. We'll be offering our full range of bath essentials at an exclusive discount for all backers of this project to enjoy.
- Provide us with the shipping address where you'd like your package delivered.
With only 24 hours left in the campaign, we're putting our full focus on production and fulfillment. Thank you so much for all your feedback, and support, and for getting us to where we are today!

It has been 12 days since we first hit the big green Launch button on Kickstarter and the response has been truly incredible. We now have more than 2000 new backers from all over the world and The Bath Towel Reloaded is one giant step closer to arriving at your door.
For our previous supporters, thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring you another exciting product. We’ll be working hard to meet and exceed all your expectations!
To our new supporters, welcome aboard! In the next few weeks, you’ll be getting regular updates on our journey in creating this awesome new towel– from manufacturing progress to the post-campaign survey and right up to shipping.
Requested: Individual Hand Towels and Bath Sheets
Due to popular demand, we're thrilled to announce that we just added some new reward tiers for individual bath sheets! There are two new perks available: Bath Sheet 1-Pack, and Bath Sheet 2-Pack.
The bath sheet and hand towels are now available as add-ons to your main reward items. Here's how to add these new add-ons to your pledge:
- Go to the main project page
- Click the green "Manage your pledge" button
- Click the blue "Change your pledge" button
- Keep the same selection or change to another reward tier. Click "Pledge $Amount" to confirm.
- Once you're on the "Configure reward" page, you will be able to see a list of add-ons. You can select the hand towel or bath sheet add-ons here to add these items to your main pledge items.
You always have the option to keep your pledge as it is. You will be able to add all kinds of exclusive add-ons (including individual hand towels and bath sheets) later on through the post-campaign survey at the same sweet Kickstarter discount.
Introducing: Stretch Goals!
Hitting the funding goal of $8000 within the first 50 minutes of the launch was one heck of a feat and it meant that this project is officially on its way to becoming a reality. To ensure that we're able to deliver your rewards on time, and offer all the options and choices your heart desires, we've set up some exciting new stretch goals! (including one for our project mascot: CyberDuck!)
Once we reach the stretch goal for the full set in a specific color, that opens up the option to add individual hand towels and bath sheets for that color as well.
All backers are now able to select Bath Towels in ALL colors. You can now add Charcoal bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels, or full sets to your order through the post-campaign survey.
We're now eyeing our next stretch goal at $250k to unlock the set and all towel sizes in Concrete. Help us get there by sharing this project with anyone you know who showers.
